Open pores are an extremely common part of concern. Sometimes showing on the nose (commonly called “strawberry nose”), open pores can as well happen in other parts of the body. Open pores are often as a result of inadequate elastin in the skin and ageing, which makes the skin structure surrounding the pore to open even wider. Considering the seriousness of the problem, we have found a variety of treatments which are now available. In most cases, if the pores have remained untreated for months or years, or the pore has spread wider with a dead skin or build-up of oils, a combination of medical care may be needed.
